Lessening the Impact of Coverage "Churn"

About half of lower-income adults will move between Medicaid and subsidized health insurance marketplace plans at least once a year. This “churning” can lead to breaks in coverage and care. In a new blog post, George Washington University’s Sara Rosenbaum looks at insurers that offer complementary health plans, which use a common provider network, for both Medicaid and the marketplaces.
