Insurer Participation in State-Based Marketplaces Remains Stable

Despite challenges, most of the state-based marketplaces have an equal or greater number of insurers competing for business in 2016 than in 2015. In a new blog post, Emily Curran, Justin Giovannelli, and Kevin Lucia of the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute's Center on Health Insurance Reforms analyze insurer participation in 17 state marketplaces and report on efforts to foster competition.
