The Australian Minister for Aged Care and Indigenous Health and the German Minister for Health signed a Joint Declaration of Intent on Bilateral Health Cooperation during the G20 Health Ministers’ Meeting in Berlin in May. This joint venture aims to share information on best practices for using digital health to efficiently deliver health services. Like other developed nations, Australia and Germany face similar issues — increasing health care costs and an aging population — and hope to use technology to help ensure access to quality health services.
