Earlier this month, House Republicans passed by a narrow margin an amended version of the American Health Care Act, their proposal to repeal and replace the ACA. The Commonwealth Fund’s David Blumenthal, M.D., and Sara Collins say that the bill, if enacted, would undermine the health and quality of life of millions of people, as well as increase economic inequality.
