Wait Times Continue to Decrease

The number of people waiting more than 26 weeks to start a treatment in the United Kingdom is at its lowest recorded level, according to new data. As of the end of August 2012, about 100,000 fewer patients had to wait longer than 18 weeks to start a treatment than did in the previous year. The average wait for inpatient treatment was 8.3 weeks.
