2021 Kitchen Cabinet: Health Equity and the New Administration and Congress

Continuation of the Kitchen Cabinet authorization into 2021 will allow Fund staff to continue to quickly engage in consulting agreements as the need arises throughout the year. As in 2020, the focus will be on rounding out our policy and political connections and supplementing programmatic and grantee expertise with outside experts. Supplementing our equity policy expertise in coordination with the Health System Equity program will be a key, though not the sole, focus of the upcoming year. The advisors will be selected throughout the year as needed based on their expertise and the policy or political gap they can help the Fund to address. Deliberate and sustained efforts will be made to ensure diversity among our advisors.
