Authorization for the Dissemination of the Commission to Envision a National Public Health System

This authorization will support partnering with grantee(s) to further disseminate the Commission report and its recommendations to policymakers, stakeholders, and media at national and local levels. As the Federal and State Health Policy program explores potential partners, an authorization provides the flexibility needed to quickly pull together a project in the late summer and early fall while utilizing our FY 2022 allocated dollars. One or more partnerships should help build the will to advance the Commission’s recommendations by: 1) educating federal policymakers on the report; and 2) engaging policymakers’ key constituencies to build visible support. Potential partners include nonprofit policy organizations and professional associations, media or communications firms, and consultants as needed.
