Filming a two-minute PSA that is formatted like a Q&A featuring a celebrity moderator (W. Kamau Bell) and four national Black physician and nurse leaders/scientists (Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, Dr. Damon Francis (confirmed), Dr. David Malebranche (confirmed), Dr. Lisa Fitzpatrick (confirmed), Dr. Monica McLemore, or Sandra Lindsay RN. Alternates are Dr. Rhea Boyd and Dr. Noha Aboelata.). Multiple shorter PSAs (15 to 30 seconds) will be developed that feature the same clinicians answering a variety of questions to extend the reach of the PSA. The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation is compiling a master list of questions based on input from the physician group and their market research. The producer, Adam Mansbach, has mocked out a draft script for the celebrity talent and four key themes will be developed and reviewed. This work will be directed by award-winning writer and director Jacob Korbbluth. The timeline launch by end of January 2021 and a rollout of smaller PSAs continuing into February 2021.
