The goal of this project is to produce a Commonwealth Fund issue brief that will inform public and policymaker understanding of health issues that face people who are involved in the criminal justice system, the role that Medicaid plays in meeting those needs, and the ways in which Medicaid is evolving to better address the health care needs of low-income people who are involved in the criminal justice system.
