Publications & Stakeholder Engagement to Elevate and Shape Primary Care Payment Reform

In partnership with national experts, Dr. Pham will produce two to three publications in prominent health care journals and disseminate messages through briefings and/or webinars. Publication topics include: 1. Why this moment in time calls for primary care payment reform (e.g. need to rebuild parts of the delivery system devastated by COVID; addressing health equity, behavioral health, and social needs). 2. How the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services could leverage the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) to introduce a new primary care payment model to achieve multiple policy goals. 3. How the private sector could benefit from primary care payment reform.
