Call for Cultural Competency Standards and Committee Nominations

<p>The National Quality Forum (NQF) is now soliciting frameworks and practices for a new project, <strong>Endorsing a Framework and Preferred Practices for Measuring and Reporting Culturally Competent Care,</strong> which is being supported by The Commonwealth Fund and the California Endowment.<br><br>The project seeks to endorse a comprehensive national framework for evaluating cultural competency across all health care settings, as well as a minimum set of preferred practices based on the framework. The framework and practices should focus on all aspects of cultural competency including, but not limited to, race/ethnicity, disabilities, sexual orientation, spirituality, and language preference.<br><br>Frameworks and practices must be submitted by <strong>Friday, October 25, 2007,</strong> at 6:00 p.m., EDT.
