Can Transparency and Technology Make Us Healthier?

<p>When designed correctly and applied in the right context, information disclosure can help people make good health care decisions, say Elena Fagotto and Archon Fung of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Transparency Policy Project.</p><p>In a new post on <em>To the Point</em>, the authors describe an effort that will look at how data-sharing digital platforms could facilitate a new kind of transparency that might be even more beneficial to public health. Patient-generated data, for example, could be used to inform health care decisions.</p>
