Consumers Had Health Plan Choice in the ACA Marketplaces
<p>In the uncertainty surrounding the Trump administration’s commitment to the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) health insurance marketplaces, several insurers have announced they will not offer plans next year. </p><p>While some see marketplace plan choice as a widespread problem, The Commonwealth Fund’s Munira Z. Gunja and Sara R. Collins report in a new post on <em>To the Point </em>that, on average, consumers in 2016 had more plans to choose from than people with employer coverage. The authors also present policy solutions for counties where only one plan option exists.</p>
