Doing Health Care Differently: An Animated Video Series
<p>Health professionals and health care organizations are experimenting with new ways to lower costs and improve care, especially for the sickest and frailest Americans. To help guide this effort, The Commonwealth Fund’s Health Care Delivery System Reform program recently released six principles for improving the value of care provided to high-need, high-cost patients, as well as a brief highlighting new models of care delivery.</p><p>Today, we launch the first three animated videos of our new series illustrating new approaches to paying for and delivering health care services. The videos look at how these reforms could make life better for patients, doctors, and other health professionals, as well as for hospitals and other health care organizations.</p>
