John Bel Edwards’s decision to expand Medicaid to more low-income adults has led to an overwhelming rush to enroll, the <em><a href="http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obamacare-medicaid-expansion-201608…; target="_blank">Los Angeles Times</a></em> reports today. </p><p>In a recent feature article, The Commonwealth Fund highlighted ways in which insurance coverage affects people’s lives. It focuses on five newly insured Illinois residents, including one woman now covered by her state’s Medicaid expansion who lived without health insurance for 23 years. </p>
