<p>The Commonwealth Fund, in collaboration with Unité de Recherche Clinique en Économie de la Santé d’lle-de-France, invites you to attend an upcoming meeting about the 2015–16 French Harkness Fellowship in Health Care Policy and Practice. The fellowship provides the unique opportunity for promising mid-career professionals—clinical leaders, hospital and insurance managers, academic researchers, government policymakers, and journalists—to spend up to 12 months in the United States working with leading experts to study health care delivery reforms (e.g., bundled payments, accountable care organizations, innovative approaches to care for high-need, high-cost patients) and other critical issues on the health policy agenda in both the U.S. and France. </p><p>The Commonwealth Fund brings together the full class of fellows—from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom—throughout the year to participate in a series of high-level policy briefings and seminars with U.S. health care leaders. Each fellowship provides up to U.S. $119,000 in support, with an additional supplemental family allowance (approximately $55,000 for partner and two children up to age 18). </p>
<p>A peer-reviewed journal article or policy report for health ministers and other policy audiences is the anticipated product of the fellowship.</p>
