<p>The New York Academy of Medicine is hosting an event, <a href="http://www.nyam.org/events/?id=280&click=">"Who Will Be My Doctor Ten Years from Now?: The Future of Primary Care Medical Homes,"</a> today, May 8, 2007. The session will address the crisis in supplying an adequate primary care physician workforce, as well as the importance of primary care and medical homes in providing coordinated care.<br><br>Speakers include: Mary O'Neil Mundinger, Dr.P.H., R.N., Dean, School of Nursing and Centennial Professor of Health Policy, Columbia University; John Tooker, M.D., M.B.A., FACP, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine; Neil Calman, M.D., ABFP, FAAFP, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Institute for Urban Health and Professor of Clinical and Family Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine; and Ronda Kotelchuck, Executive Director, Primary Care Development Corporation.
