Social Share: Creating Lists on Twitter

It's time again for The Social Share, the weekly newsletter designed to help you build your social audience one tweet at a time. As always, the images below link to Twitter. If you are interested in retweeting these tweets or reading the featured material, click on the image.

Let's face it: the road to becoming overwhelmed on Twitter is a short one. The more people you follow, the less useful your Twitter feed becomes. Last week we used a list to find and follow our coworkers on Twitter. This week we're going to make our own lists. Lists are great shortcut to decluttering your feed. Think about the people you follow who consistently post tweets that you find valuable. Those are the people you want to add to your first list—peers, thought leaders, journalists, and other prime sources of information that is relevant to your everyday work. At the bottom of this email you'll find a link to instructions on how to make a list. Add these key people to your list and let me know when you're done.

Please contact Josh if you have any questions. Now, on with this week's batch of tweets.
