Join us for a one-hour Tweet Chat hosted by The Commonwealth Fund and Institute for Healthcare Improvement on Wednesday, June 3, at 2:00 p.m., E.T., to discuss new approaches to health care delivery that could lead to breakthroughs in performance and improved care for the most vulnerable patients—those with complex needs and high costs.

In particular, we will be discussing the merits of several of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s new rules for health care posed in a recent Journal of the American Medical Association article, including:

Make it easy: Continually reduce waste and eliminate low-value activities.

Move knowledge, not people: Exploit all helpful capacities of the digital age, for example, by substituting cheaper and more convenient alternatives for visits and institutional stays. Meet people where they are—literally.

Please join us for this free event on Twitter, and share your thoughts about how we can redesign the health care system. Follow along and tweet us at #IHIAlliance.
