Some health care organizations are creating innovation centers to bridge the divide between tech entrepreneurs, designers, and clinicians who work on the front lines of care. In innovation centers popping up across the U.S., collaborative teams are working to discover, develop, test, and spread new approaches to delivering patient care. <br /><br />
Between November 2014 and January 2015, The Commonwealth Fund researchers conducted an online survey of innovation centers affiliated with health care organizations to learn about their role in promoting health system transformation. A chartpack of survey findings reveals how these centers define innovation, what factors into their investment decisions, the technologies they most commonly use, and much more. <br />
