Lauren Haynes

Lauren A. Haynes, M.P.H., C.P.H., is a former researcher in the Health Care Coverage and Access program at the Commonwealth Fund. In this role she was responsible for providing research and analytic support to the program. Currently, she serves a director of Impact and Evaluation at FPWA, a New York City–based antipoverty policy and advocacy organization. Before joining the Commonwealth Fund in 2022, Haynes was director of quality and evaluation at Public Health Solutions, where she told stories with data, evaluated program impact, and developed a culture of continuous quality improvement across the organization’s portfolio of 14 community-based public health and social service programs. She also has served as a program coordinator at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and as a social science research analyst at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General. Haynes holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering and an M.P.H. in health policy and management from Columbia University.
