A new blog post from the Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) describes the reporting projects of each of the five 2014 AHCJ Reporting Fellows on Health Care Performance. The program is supported by The Commonwealth Fund. Among the subjects reported on by last year’s fellows: how the shortage of primary care physicians is playing out in rural communities; efforts to reduce inappropriate use of emergency departments; and the changing face of cancer care.
