Agnès Buzyn has been appointed the new director of the French national health authority, the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS). During questioning before the French parliament, Buzyn, the current head of France’s National Cancer Institute, stressed the need to enhance cost-effectiveness evaluations for drug price negotiations.
