In a recent Commonwealth Fund–supported study (Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, June 24, 2016), researchers led by Daniela Koller, a 2012–13 Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice, mined Medicare data to examine variations in the prescribing of Alzheimer’s medications by provider type, region, stage of disease, and other variables.
