Commonwealth Fund President David Blumenthal, M.D., is the 2017 recipient of the William B. Graham Prize for Health Services Research. The prize recognizes the contributions of health services researchers who have had a significant impact on the public’s health in one of three areas: health services management, health policy development, and health care delivery. Blumenthal’s contributions reflect all three areas, according to the independent selection committee of past winners, distinguished academics, and internationally recognized researchers.
The prize has been awarded since 1986 by The Baxter International Foundation and the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
