Canadian Health Ministries Agree to a Common Statement of Principles for Improved Access

In Canada, federal, provincial, and territorial health ministers have agreed on a Common Statement of Principles on Shared Health Priorities outlining a set of collective priorities for the next 10 years. Among these priorities are improving access to mental health, addiction, and home and community care, as well as improving services and outcomes for indigenous peoples. The landmark agreement will involve collaboration at all levels of government, including bilateral agreements between the federal government and individual provinces and territories.
