Becker's Hospital Review recently named both the current Commonwealth Fund president, David Blumenthal, M.D., and his predecessor, Karen Davis, among the "40 Smartest People in Healthcare" for having the "intellect and acumen needed to spearhead successful reform" of the U.S. health care system.
