The New Zealand government's online depression management tool, The Journal, has had 1.5 million visits in its first two years. The tool, launched in 2010, features a six week e-therapy program that teaches people techniques to help manage their mild to moderate depression. Although targeted at individuals with mild to moderate depression, The Journal has also caught the attention of people with very mild depression and people with severe depression, suggesting that it could be helpful to a wide range of individuals.
