<em>Quality Matters:</em> Modernizing Medical Education

The April/May issue of Quality Matters looks at efforts by medical schools around the nation to revamp their curricula to help students take advantage of new data analytics tools, team-based models of care, and quality improvement techniques known to enhance outcomes and increase the efficiency of care. In an interview, George Mejicano, M.D., senior associate dean for education at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, describes the school's efforts to tailor coursework to each student's strengths and weaknesses.
