Empowering Healthy Latino Communities in the Time of COVID-19

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute will leverage its convening power to facilitate the exchange of ideas, solutions, and information to address Latino health disparities and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as address medical and vaccine hesitancy and mistrust. The project provides an opportunity to connect the work of the Fund with both Latino policymakers, policymakers with a specific focus in addressing Latino health issues, and the broader community of policy influencers and stakeholders invested in reducing disparities and ensuring equity. The Fund will have the opportunity to give input on targeted events as well as support broader convenings of the target audiences while also building connections and expertise around how to craft messages that reach and resonate with Latino communities.
