Kitchen Cabinet: Political and Policy Advising for the 2020 Election

The Kitchen Cabinet authorization will allow the Fund’s internal 2020 strategy work group and Federal and State Health Policy program, in collaboration with other Fund staff, to create consulting agreements with select advisors in 2020 to support the Fund’s internal political and policy planning as related to the 2020 election. The Kitchen Cabinet authorization creates a structure for intensified consultation with Fund contacts in D.C., which develops resources for the Fund’s 2020 work group. In the first half of the year (through the conventions), the focus of advisors will be informing the primary process, which we are expecting to be a window to discuss our key policy priorities.
