The National Association of Medicaid Directors' (NAMD) new Leadership Circle addresses the gap in leadership training and legacy knowledge about Medicaid. The Fund will be an integral partner in this work, along with three to four additional national philanthropies. NAMD’s leadership program for directors and their staff will consist of: in person leadership development training for state Medicaid teams, new Medicaid director orientation, consultation with a strategic senior advisor, affinity group for deputy directors, Medicaid 101 podcasts, web-enabled discussion series on leadership concepts, and a leadership newsletter.
