Judith Kasper

Judith Kasper, Ph.D., was a professor of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Kasper’s research and teaching focused on health policy in disability and long-term care; assessment of needs for care and service provision to physically and mentally disabled people; health care financing and access for vulnerable populations; and the development and application of data sources — national surveys in particular — for health policy analysis and health services research. She was principal investigator of the National Health and Aging Trends Study (www.nhats.org/) funded by the National Institute on Aging to support research on disability trends and dynamics among older people.
