Priti Khanal

Priti Khanal, M.P.H., is a senior program officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies, supporting leadership and capacity building to achieve Medicaid’s potential. She currently works on initiatives focused on state-based policy and leadership training in New Jersey and California. She also supports the Medicaid Leadership Institute, which provides leadership training for Medicaid directors across the country, and works on the Maternal Health Equity project. Previously, Khanal served as a public health officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she worked on mitigating international travel-based communicable disease risk and building partnerships to enhance emergency preparedness and response. She has a master’s degree in public health from the Rutgers School of Public Health.
